Some Cool Freebies

Over the past few years, many libraries have made some big changes. For those without an Internet connection at home, you can use the Internet for free at your library and that saves you about $60 a month.  You can bring in your own laptop and use their wifi free also.

There are books, magazines and newspapers from all over the globe that you can browse through so why pay twenty dollars for a new book when you can read it for free when you check it out from your local library. If the book you want is not available, you can special order it, and that is a free service also.

Most libraries also have CDs and even though you won’t have the wide selection you would find in a music store, they offer more than you might think. Movies can be rented for free also as well as books on tape or books on CD.  If you spend travel time in your car, a book on CD is a great way to pass the time. You will even find documentaries to listen to if a novel is not your cup of tea.
